"Windows 7 has proven its reliability in our initial trials both in our office test environment and in field trials. We have found noticeable speed and performance benefits for both new and old hardware currently with Windows XP. With the cost at under $300 for the license, it is certainly worth considering for many business and personal systems to extend their useful life.
Windows 7 provides a clear and easy-to-use interface and is quite intuitive in how it works. Users have found it easy to move to Windows 7. We particularly recommend Windows 7 for clients that have Vista on any systems as they will experience even greater performance benefit. When it is combined with Server 2008, Windows 7 is even faster and maximum benefit is achieved.
We estimate the install will take around one or two hours with more time needed for some specialized applications."
